BOYCOTT BTL. Dont pay your BTL bills. Drive them out of business. Let them make no money. It is that simple. BTL is in Belize because they are making money. Hit them where it hurts, in their pockets. What is stopping a new telecom company from coming in there, offering services, and running wires (or wireless)?
Is it legal? If not, why not put together a legal effort to challenge this in court?
My wife and I would like to retire there, but not if I have to go back to shitty dial-up service.

Can you collecting signatures in order to force the government to put a new law to a public vote? That’s what we sometimes have to do here in the U.S.
